How much will a 9ct ring with 18ct of gold wear?
Since gold is a soft metal, the higher the gold content, the softer the metal, so 9ct will wear less than 18ct. With white gold, I doubt thered be any difference in the look of the ring, as white gold is rhodium plated (a coating over the top of the white gold).
