I have tried everything I could think to find out what it means and how to get rid of it but havent had any luck searching on Google or on any forums. Just the other day a symbol appeared in the right hand corner of my screen right next to the time display. Am I searching the wrong things? Got 4 new Dimensions in with standard Dell wired keyboard. I thought this meant that there were new videos on that channel, but every single channel that has a number has no new videos.
The number refers to the videos published in the last period of time a week maybe, or a month, here I'm not so sure. There is no built-in option to hide the inbox unread count. I can't believe they pay people to make their site worse. Open the Regional and Language settings control panel and make sure it's set to your correct location and version of English on every tab. I have the Nero suite installed, so I don't really need the inbuilt Windows capability to burn discs, and I'm forever hitting that option when I mean to create. I find that when I'm composing an email is the main time when I get distracted by the inbox count. I did figure how sort of -- to set it with the ruler. I really dont know why I am using a center tab stop since I want to put the date at the right margin not in the center- but it at least sometimes works.
