Then go into your osu! installation folder, right click the exe and there should be an option like run with graphics processor... > High performance. On my laptop I had the same problem with minecraft and I had to always start it like that (but I am sure that there was an option in the Nvidia driver settings to change it permanently)

Nope! osu! and McOsu are two separate games. If you want to go back to playing McOsu, you will have to delete the command in your launch options. If you want to go back to playing osu! - just re-add the launch option!

Both of them can be adjusted globally by pressing Ctrl + Shift (+ alt if effect volume). So it might be good to adjust the music volume in-game just like the effect volume.

First get your mp3 from the folder, download Audacity, then drag the mp3 into it once it is installed and you can increase the volume of the mp3 on the left hand side. Finally go to file - export and your mp3 will be louder~ (You might need to download another file you can find on google to export the mp3)

I believe a good suggestion would be to just start osu! off at like 80% volume after a clean install, and then let the user up the volume if they want. What about volume mixer settings on windows?

I think itll be good to have a hotkey (eg Ctrl + Mouse Wheel) for the music volume. While its true that the current hotkeys for Universal + Effect Volume can cater for the majority of maps, it may be handy to be able to enhance really subtle hitsound by lowering the music volume (while maxing the effect volume in this case) on some maps.
