How do you hook up a beer line to a keg?
Connect Beer Line to Coupler Now connect the beer line from the tower (3) to the keg coupler. Insert the neoprene washer (14) into the beer line hex nut (the beer line is the line coming from the tower and faucet).
How do you install a beer line on a tower?
Unravel the beer line hose from the bottom of the tower, and feed the hex nut and beer line through the hole you uncovered in the top of the cabinet. 4. Secure Tower Once you have fed all the line into the cabinet, you are ready to place the tower into the unit.

How do you tap a keg without breaking it?
To secure the tank connection, pull the tap handle out — away from the keg coupler (10) — and push down until it locks into position. Listen for the “click” of the pull handle when it shifts into the final downward position, and your keg will be tapped.
How do you connect a gas kegerator to a beer line?
Connect Beer and Gas Lines Youll need two lines to set up your kegerator - the beer line and the gas line. The beer line connects to the keg by way of the keg coupler and delivers cold beer to the tap faucet. The gas line connects to the CO2 regulator on the CO2 tank, then also connects to the keg coupler.

How is beer delivered from a keg?
This is a standard system for delivering draft beer from keg to tap across a short distance. Carbon dioxide or a mixture of nitrogen and CO2, known as beer gas, is used to push beer from the keg through the beer line up to the draft tower and faucet.
How to tap a keg?
Before tapping a keg make sure you have the right keg coupler to tap a keg. More than likely you will because the distributor supplies retailers with the right coupler for the keg they are pouring. If you are using a party pump coupler that will be provided by the distributor as well.

Some beer may also come out with the air, but not much. Turn the keg right side up. Dislodge the retaining ring at the top of the keg using the flat screwdriver.
How do you use a keg coupler?
Turn the keg coupler handle 1/4 turn clockwise; the coupler is now secured to keg. Pull out on the coupler handle and push down; release the handle and it will lock into place. The keg is now tapped. Tapping the keg properly will activate both the beer and the CO2 pressure line.
Do you have to tip a keg?
In that case, you would just have to tip the keg so the tap is at a point below the level of the drink. Be aware, however, that beer or lager in kegs is usually carbonated by the pumping system, so expect your drink to be flat (or invest in a cheap tap with mini CO2 cylinders).
